1.
SWIM and SUNBATHE. This is free and fun. :)
2. Kayak (~100php per hour).
3. Island Hop to VIRGIN ISLAND
This costs around 600-1200php, depending on the season and your bargaining skills (more
here). Entrance fee to the island is 300php (group of 5). The tour guide may also offer to cook for you, for about 150php each plus the cooking fee at the island (50php), the price so, so worth it.
The caretaker of the Island also sells ingredients for your food, softdrinks, and other things you might see in a sari-sari store.
Snorkelling equipment may also be rented from your tour guide for 50 pesos (mask and goggles). Starfish can be seen at the left side of the island.
4. Go to OGTONG CAVE. As a bonus, Sta. Fe beach resort offers free entrance to Ogtong Resort facilities. Otherwise, its 100php per person.
They have a mini zoo that includes that little cutie. :)
5. Eat!
The Bantayan Market offers great for at an even greater price. For 25 pesos, you can eat yummy Chicken Barbeque and for another 2 pesos, you can have puso (:pu-SO = rice) to go with it.
Seafood is readily available, thus always FRESH, CHEAP, and DELICIOUS.
6. Shop! We were pre-informed that the famous danggit is cheaper in Bantayan Island because most come from there so we opt to buy our pasalubongs there.
Here's the price list:
Unsalted danggit — 340/kg
*unsalted danggit is more expensive because it was sundried right after it was caught, unlike salted danggit that are unsold fish sundried to be of use.
Bilog fish — 340/kg or 85 for the 1/4 kg I bought.
* I still do not know what this I called. My dad bought this for me when I was a kid everytime he goes to Cebu (which was, i think, once a month or every other month). It was my happy food. Anyway, its circular in shape and sweet.
Squid — 400+. I forgot.
7.
Pray. You can go to Saints Peter and Paul Church/Bantayan Church via tricycle.
